Job summary

A global marketing firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Associate Finance Manager to support media finance operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities

As an Associate Finance Manager, you will support media finance operations, including but not limited to:

  • On-boarding of new suppliers and clients
  • Jobs monitoring, analysis and closing
  • Issue/check billing instructions to shared service team and ensure 100% billing completion before end of following month of activity
  • Revenue recognition and reconciliation of WIP account. Review completeness and accuracy once posted in ERP System
  • Resolve/respond to client billing queries
  • Resolve issues in supplier invoices in co-ordination with Media/Operations team
  • Work closely with respective teams on issue resolutions
  • Regular WIP meeting with Stakeholders
  • Accounts Payable responsibilities
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with at least a Diploma in Finance/Accounting or qualified professional certification
  • Prior hands-on experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivables/Billing operations for media industry an advantage, but not mandatory as training would be provided
  • Strong in numbers and intermediate in Microsoft Excel (such as pivot table and v-lookup)
  • Analytical, meticulous with a positive attitude to learn fast and work hard
  • Good team player and able to work with minimal supervision
