Assistant Vice President, Commercial Credit Underwriting
  • Approving of credit proposals within the delegated approving authority i
  • To ensure compliance of credit policies, risk acceptance criteria, credit underwriting standards, BNM requirement and any other relevant regulatory/governance.
  • To provide independent and prudent credit evaluation.
  • Manage underwriting activities of the team to meet turnaround time (TAT).
  • Managing the continuous flow of information and feedback to Business Unit and credit underwriter on appropriateness of lending situations, packaging of facilities, advising on skill gaps, timely reviews and credit decisions based on latest approved cases by relevant approving authority.
  • Execute/encourage team work, open communication/feedback, coaching and mentoring.
  • Facilitate necessary training (if necessary) for related credit areas.
