About the role

Hotel Casuarina Meru is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager or Sales Manager to join our talented team in Ipoh, Perak. This full‑time position will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and revenue growth of our hotel, while also contributing to the overall strategic direction of the business.

What you'll be doing
  • Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to promote the hotel and drive bookings.
  • Identifying and nurturing relationships with key clients, travel agents, and other industry partners to secure new business.
  • Effectively managing the sales team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborating with the broader hotel team to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
  • Preparing detailed sales reports and presentations to communicate progress and insights to senior management.
  • Identifying and aggressively pursuing new business leads within the Ipoh Government and Corporate sectors through cold‑calling, networking, industry events, and digital prospecting.
