Assistant Quantity Surveyor & Admin Cum Purchasing
  • Education Level: SPM, Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Preferably: Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply. Past involvement or experience in tendering & costing and/or Electrical Engineering is an added advantage.
  • Language (Written & Spoken): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, and other native languages.
  • Software Knowledge:
    • Essential: Microsoft Excel/Word, Gmail.
    • Additional: AutoCAD, Internet Explorer, ZOOM Meeting, Microsoft Teams, Mobile Applications.
  • Knowledgeable with good organization & planning skills, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Independent with minimal supervision, positive attitude, self-motivated, aggressive & good discipline.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a construction site environment.
  • Willing to travel and possess a valid driving license.
Responsibilities
  • Administration & procurement tasks.
  • Assist in analyzing tender drawings and BQ, and perform necessary actions (e.g., calling for quotations from suppliers).
  • Prepare price comparison and identify the most reliable price.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure comprehensive and consistent quotations are received.
  • Source, negotiate, and coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules.
  • Assist in compilation of project documentation.
  • Keep track of testers borrowed in/out by site supervisors or staff, including calibration status.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.
  • Handle Purchasing Orders (PO) and Delivery Orders (DO) issuance processes.
  • Keep track of materials in the store.
  • Assist on progress claims & progress reports.
  • Assist in preparing letters or documentation required by authorities.
  • Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
