Job Description

Supervision and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for civil and structural site work projects. The candidate will supervise and provide inspection oversight for civil site works, foundations, and structural for buildings, including administration of the QA/QC program and completion of related quality assurance documents.

Specific Responsibilities

• Ensure that all environmental, health, and safety rules are followed during the work and if necessary take immediately action to avoid any accident/incident.
• Coordinate civil subcontractor work with the site manager.
• Review and thoroughly understand design drawings and specifications.
• Manage contractor Requests For Information (RFI).
• Interface with the civil designers.
• Responsible to oversee that all civil construction activities are conducted in compliance with the design drawings and specifications.
• Preparation and administration of Quality Assurance plan for civil construction sites.
• Preparation and Completion of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) used for Quality Assurance in civil construction activities.
• Preparation and Completion of Inspection and Test Records (ITR) used for Quality Assurance in civil construction activities.
• Monitor correctness of civil construction activities by enforcing the Quality Assurance Plan.
• Participate in site meetings to optimize site civil construction activities.
• Participate in site meetings to coordinate with various contractors working in the same site.
• Prepare and file daily reports of site civil construction activities.
• Assess civil construction progress and act pro-actively to avoid delays in the schedule.
• Prepare field mark-ups for record (as-built) drawings.
