Assistant Project Manager – Landscape Projects (Tajul Green)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the successful planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscape or environmental projects and a strong understanding of project coordination. Candidates with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) knowledge and/or Certified Arborist Credentials will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing landscape projects from inception to completion.
  • Assist in managing day‑to‑day project activities related to landscape construction and installation.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
  • Support procurement and management of materials and equipment for projects.
  • Monitor and ensure proper soil preparation, plant selection, planting techniques, and irrigation systems are implemented according to project specifications.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Support in preparing and reviewing project tenders, drawings, and material specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure environmental and arboricultural aspects of the project meet local regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in liaising with environmental authorities for permits, particularly where EIA or tree preservation orders are applicable.
  • Coordinate tree surveys, transplanting, and protection plans where necessary.
  • Implement and monitor sustainable landscaping practices in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, Horticulture or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in landscape project management or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Understanding of environmental regulations and landscape standards.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • EIA experience or certification is an added advantage.
  • Certified Arborist (e.g., ISA) or equivalent qualification is a strong asset.
