A leading business in innovative marketing is seeking a Marketing Manager in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The role involves managing the innovation roadmap, overseeing marketing projects, and coordinating cross-functional teams to align local strategies with HQ directives. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing or brand activation, with proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Manage and roll out the innovation roadmap across countries for assigned retail products and sub-brands, making sure there’s a strong pipeline and healthy margins. This includes leveraging the innovation projects and kicking off local initiatives that align with the brand strategy and HQ direction, in close collaboration with RDI and HQ Marketing.
Adapt packaging and livery designs for the assigned portfolio to align with brand positioning. Manage the livery approval process both locally and with the HQ team.
Oversee end-to-end management of innovation projects (migrations, phase-outs, new launches) ensuring smooth execution with minimal impact on the business.
Work closely with Supply Chain, Sales and Finance teams.
Ensure all innovation projects follow compliance requirements and proper processes from start to finish.
Lead the planning and execution of the annual marketing plan for the category and any new products or sub-brands in line with both local and HQ strategies.
Keep track of key competitors and lead tactical initiatives or updates to the marketing mix when needed.
Monitor core brand KPIs including market share, sales volume/value and profitability and recommend action plans to help achieve targets.
Manage the A&P budget for the category and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activations.
Localize communications and activation efforts for the assigned brands and roll out campaigns that align with HQ directions.
Work closely with creative, activation and media agencies throughout the process to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and stay true to the brand and campaign goals.
Plan and run product knowledge and application training sessions (basic to intermediate) for different stakeholders.
Review and evaluate campaigns, identify what worked and what didn’t and apply key takeaways to future initiatives.
Set and uphold product standards within the category, while responding to market feedback, benchmarking competitors and managing quality issues as they arise.
Support the Marketing Team to handle reports, documents and data as per needed by the Sales & Management Team.
Responsible for all Internal Marketing Activities.
Liaise with Finance & Account Department to get the Marketing Expenses updated on monthly basis.
Liaise with all external suppliers to get quotations for catalogs, signboards, banned posters, POP and etc.
Send and compile all customer satisfaction forms.
Liaise with HQ designers to ensure that all marketing collaterals are done correctly and align our internal marketing direction.
Dashboard/OBD report to complete on a monthly basis
