Manage client portfolios, including workflow planning, billing, and resource allocation.
Review tax computations and advisory work prepared by the tax team to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Provide expert tax advisory services to key clients and support complex tax matters such as planning, due diligence, and restructuring.
Lead, coach, and develop Tax Team Leads and Senior staff, including performance management and goal setting.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, from internal process optimization to client onboarding.
Conduct technical training to strengthen the team’s technical knowledge and service delivery.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
Experience: At least 6 years of relevant tax experience, with strong exposure to advisory and compliance work.
Certification: Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CTIM) required; tax agent license is highly preferred.
Technical Strength: In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian Income Tax Act 1967 and relevant tax legislation.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills with strong business acumen and attention to detail.
