A leading managed care organization is seeking a finance professional to oversee month-end closing processes, prepare financial reports, and conduct variance analysis. The role demands solid auditing experience and technical skills in consolidated reporting. The ideal candidate will be organized, collaborative, and possess excellent communication skills. This position is based in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam, and requires knowledge of relevant accounting software such as SAP B1. Continuous improvement initiatives and special projects are part of the responsibilities.
Oversee and manage the month‑end closing process for all entities within the Group.
Ensure accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and intercompany reconciliations.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior management.
Provide insights on key financial indicators, operational metrics, and business performance.
Lead the preparation of the Group’s monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
Perform consolidation adjustments, elimination entries, and group‑level reconciliations.
Consolidate annual budgets and periodic forecasts submitted by business units.
Prepare budget presentation packs for management review.
Ensure consistency of assumptions, templates, and reporting structures across the Group.
Prepare and compile financial sections of the Board reporting pack.
Coordinate with other departments to collect required inputs.
Manage monthly variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
Provide meaningful commentary and insights on financial performance drivers.
Highlight risks, opportunities, and proposed action plans to improve results.
Act as main liaison for annual statutory audit and internal audit reviews.
Prepare audit schedules, respond to queries, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal control requirements.
This position will be based in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
