A leading food manufacturing firm in Selangor is looking for a Production Executive to assist the production manager in overseeing manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading a skilled production team. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Food Science, have at least 3 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills. Proficiency in both Bahasa and English is required.
Assist production manager to oversee the overall manufacturing processes to monitor and track overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) in terms of availability, performance and quality in utilization of man power, machine efficiency and materials in production. Identify operational losses, benchmarking progress, improve the productivity and yet reduce the cost of overall production operations.
Assist production manager to set up individual lines’ structure with clear procedures on communications, scope of work, standard operating manuals, procurement and approvals, guidelines, report and meeting.
Assist production manager to strategize and direct the planning of production activities in assigned production lines to meet delivery dates according to sales forecast, planning and/or customers' orders while meeting standards of safety and quality. Identify challenges and perform root cause analysis for variation and recommend for solutions accordingly.
Proactively and continuously review and monitor output productivity as well as current man power deployment, production processes and practices to find continuous improvements in procedures, methods, effectiveness and resource utilization for low-cost conversion.
Analyze operational incidents and make recommendations or changes in policies/procedures to prevent future occurrence for achieving higher productivity in production lines.
Lead, motivate, train and upgrade the technical and production skills of the production team to achieve optimum productivity.
Provide strong leadership to production team, ensure high morale, teamwork, good employee relations, and promote team collaboration across the organization.
Ensure production activities are in compliance to standard of safety policies: Halal, GMP, HACCP, DOSH, DOE and all other statutory requirements.
Work with relevant departments to eliminate production problems, improve and maintain a high-quality level and spearhead action plans.
Collaborate with engineering team for the implementation of machine/production line maintenance and if any improvement projects.
Assist in the execution of R&D initiatives to improve recipes, reduce cost and introduce new product when necessary.
Attend weekly/monthly meetings and prepare daily/monthly reports as requested.
Carry out other duties and tasks as directed by the Management in line with competencies and activities associated with any of the above processes.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Industrial) / Food Science / Food Technology or equivalent.
Must have sound knowledge in BRC standards and ISO 22000.
Background specialized in Quality Control or equivalent is a must.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Possess excellent organizational, planning and management skills; outstanding interpersonal, teamwork skills as well as analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and have a strong knowledge of HACCP & GMP procedures.
Demonstrate a working proficiency with MS Office applications.
Able to read, write and speak Bahasa and English in order to comprehend instructions on the job.
