Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • A. Policy Issuance & Operational Management
    • Oversee and perform end‑to‑end commercial policy issuance activities with accuracy and compliance to guidelines.
    • Ensure timely turnaround of policy documents inclusive of endorsements and renewals.
    • Review submitted cases to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to underwriting and regulatory requirements.
    • Support process investigations and resolve escalations related to policy issuance or system issues.
    • Monitor daily operational performance and provide insights for service improvement.
  • B. Transformation & Process Improvement
    • Participate in commercial transformation projects, focusing on process optimization, automation, and digitalization.
    • Analyze current workflows, identify gaps, and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and customer experience.
    • Collaborate with IT, Operations, Underwriting, and Business teams to ensure smooth implementation of system changes.
    • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation of business requirements, and validation of system fixes.
    • Track project milestones, follow up with stakeholders, and support reporting to management.
  • C. Governance, Compliance & Quality Assurance
    • Ensure all policy issuance activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
    • Conduct periodic quality checks and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Maintain accurate records, audit trails, and reporting for governance purposes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in insurance operations or commercial policy issuance.

Strong understanding of insurance operations, especially commercial lines, and policy issuance processes.

Experience in process improvement, digital transformation, or operational optimization projects.

Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes.

Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.
