A leading financial institution in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Assistant Manager for the Organisation & Methods (Policy & Manuals Review) function. The ideal candidate should possess over 8 years in risk management, preferably in a managerial role. Responsibilities include leading policy consistency efforts, developing management guidelines, and conducting training workshops. 1. Lead the Organisation & Method (O&M) function to ensure consistency and comprehensiveness across the Bank’s frameworks, policies, product manuals, and operation manuals (collectively referred to as "the Documents").
2. Provide advisory support as a subject matter expert on the Bank’s Documents, ensuring clear and consistent governance requirements in the management of frameworks, policies, product manuals, and operation manuals within Agrobank and its subsidiaries (the Group).
3. Execute any other instructions, directives, and decisions from the HOD, CRO, Management, and the Board.
Lead the O&M Section to ensure effective handling and advisory of team members to internal customers.
Develop guidelines, templates, and checklists to facilitate walkthroughs with each business and functional owner of frameworks/ policies/ manuals, ensuring that all manuals are consistent with others, adequate, and complete.
Implement best practice of policy and procedure management for Banks.
Manage the timely review of the Bank’s overall frameworks, policies, and manuals.
Provide training, coaching, and awareness workshops on the proper management of policies and procedures.
Have more than 8 years of relevant experience in Risk Management and/or related areas in the financial industry or business environment, preferably in managerial position.
Degree in Finance/ Banking/ Accountancy/ Business Management/ Islamic Banking & Finance or other relevant major.
Supervisory skills,
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Computer literacy: proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and managing multiple priorities is often required.
