Job summary

A leading logistics company in Malaysia seeks an experienced OpsTalent Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment for Operations roles. This hands-on leadership role requires 5–8 years of recruitment experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and a solutions-oriented mindset. You will partner with Ops leaders, establish hiring processes, and monitor hiring performance in a fast-moving environment. A background in logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of recruitment experience with exposure to volume/frontline hiring.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with Ops or site-based teams.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and evolving environments.
  • Ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or large-scale operations is an advantage.

Job description

We are setting up a dedicated OpsTalent (Recruitment) team to strengthen how we hire across Operations, starting with Last Mile and scaling across the Ops ecosystem. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast‑moving, operational environments and enjoys building things from the ground up. This position is offered as a 1-year fixed‑term contract, with conversion to permanent subject to the success of the OpsTalent pilot.

Job Descriptions:
  • Own end-to-end recruitment for Operations roles, starting with Last MilePartner closely with Ops leaders to translate manpower needs into hiring plans
  • Establish and evolve fit-for-purpose hiring processes (practical, not bureaucratic)Lead and coach recruiter(s) supporting Ops hiring
  • Monitor hiring performance, early attrition, and agency usage
  • Resolve hiring escalations and balance competing priorities across Ops
Requirements:
  • 5–8 years of recruitment experience, with exposure to volume or frontline hiring
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with Ops or site-based teams
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and evolving environments
  • Data-literate, with the ability to use numbers to drive decisions
  • Practical, resilient, and solutions‑orientedExperience in logistics, e-commerce, supply chain, or large-scale operations is an advantage.
