Job description

To supports the Head of Operations in overseeing and managing the end‑to‑end operational functions of the company, including procurement, supply chain, production, logistics, warehouse, and operations administration. The role ensures operational efficiency, timely delivery, cost optimization, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Procurement Management
  • Oversee procurement activities to ensure timely sourcing of materials and services at competitive costs.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and budgetary constraints.
2. Supply Chain & Production Oversight
  • Monitor and coordinate the end‑to‑end supply chain to ensure smooth flow of materials and finished goods.
  • Support production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet operational targets.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes, improve productivity, and reduce waste.
3. Logistics & Warehouse Management
  • Oversee logistics operations including transportation, distribution, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure warehouse management, inventory control, and stock accuracy.
  • Implement warehouse optimization strategies and monitor KPIs such as inventory turnover, stock levels, and order fulfilment rates.
4. Operations Administration
  • Supervise administrative operations to support operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, operational records, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
5. Strategic Planning & Reporting
  • Assist the Head of Operations in developing operational strategies, goals, and improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports on operational performance, cost efficiency, production metrics, and supply chain KPIs.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor departmental teams (procurement, supply chain, production, logistics, warehouse, and admin).
  • Ensure cross‑functional collaboration across all operational areas.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and track team performance.
7. Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with regulatory standards, company policies, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor production quality, delivery performance, and supplier compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, APICS, Lean Six Sigma) are an advantage.
  • 5–8 years of experience in operations management, preferably with exposure to procurement, supply chain, production, logistics, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience in supervising cross‑functional teams and managing end‑to‑end operations.
  • Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to monitor KPIs and generate operational insights.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/operations management software.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
