Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Capture daily transactions into fund accounting system.
• Ensure timely account openings with relevant parties.
• Perform reconciliations and resolve issues.
• Oversee daily NAV processes and publication.
• Prepare fund reporting and assist with SOPs.

• Ensure all daily transactions are captured correctly into fund accounting system i.e. trades; corporate action; settlement/payment; fees accrual; tax provision & deferred tax;
• Ensure all account openings with counterparty; custodian; transfer agent; service provider are done on timely basis;
• Perform reconciliation properly and resolve related issue promptly;
• Ensure daily NAV and price publication are done on time;
• Perform oversight on NAV done by service provider;
• Preparation of related fund reporting;
• Assist senior on preparation of SOP;
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, custodian and fund accounting service provider

Job Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree holders, preferably majoring in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economy
• Alternative qualification may be considered based on working experience;
• Basic understanding of taxation / accounting aspects

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years related working experience in the Insurance and / or Unit Trust industry;

Knowledge

• Good working knowledge of MS Office;
• Preferably with working knowledge in fund accounting applications
