Responsibilities
  • Provide monthly and quarterly performance analysis of Malaysia operation and Genting Malaysia Berhad (GENM) Group
  • To conduct study for the process of preparing existing management reports and to identify areas for improvement
  • To provide recommendation for process automation and streamline existing financial reports using SAS tools to improve efficiency and quality of the deliverables
  • To prepare cost rationalisation and revenue optimisation finance related projects
  • Assist to coordinate, planning and monitoring the budgeting process for Malaysia operation and GENM Group budget exercise
  • Liaison with external auditors and internal auditors in relation to GENM Group financial results
  • To ensure compliance of ISO requirements for our division
  • To prepare the computation of sum insured of GENM Group’s fire consequential loss insurance and assist in insurance claims
  • Any other ad-hoc assignments related to Corporate, Planning & Property (CPP) - Reporting
Qualifications
  • A good degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in auditing/accounting and well versed in FRS
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Meticulous, highly organized and strong leadership qualities
  • Member of professional body (e.g. MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MACPA, CPA, ICAA)
  • Computer savvy
