Hume Cement Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Finance to join our growing team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This full‑time role will support the company's financial accounting and reporting functions.

What you'll be doing
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls
  • Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax filings
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision‑making
What we're looking for
  • Qualified personnel with 5+ years of post‑qualification experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • Strong technical skills in financial statement preparation, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Proficient in the use of financial reporting software and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate financial information for non‑finance stakeholders
