Overview
The Director II of Content Moderation Department is responsible for leading, developing, strategizing and supervising the implementation of proactive monitoring and the administrative and management frameworks for analysing online content. This position is key in ensuring that the organization's objectives and directives, particularly in enhancing organizational vigilance, rapid response capabilities and effective reaction rates are achieved comprehensively.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactive Monitoring: Plan & lead proactive monitoring of key events and incidents to enhance organizational awareness, shortening response times, and increasing the efficiency of the reaction process;
- Monitor the comprehensive execution of first responder actions in response to potentially illegal or harmful content. Initiate First Information Reports (FIR) and coordinate the escalation of incidents to relevant internal and external teams for further action;
- Overseeing the submission and resubmission processes for content removal and website blocking to ensure that these processes are efficient, timely, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Social Media Analytics;
- Consistently focus on the development and enhancements of tools, solutions, methodologies, processes, and capabilities, to bolster the operation and efficiency of the CMOD;
- Evaluate and strategize digital assets and platform functionalities in specific given projects, aiming to proactively identify any undetected misuse or abuse. This is achieved by utilizing internal data, harnessing open-source intelligence and leveraging insights from third-party entities
- Reporting and Statistics; Contribute insights to the strategic planning and development, maintaining and disseminating notes, records and reports to the executive and management team. This ensures enhanced strategic planning activities, for more effective and efficient implementation of tasks
- Develop and construct comprehensive reports and/or dashboards that succinctly convey quantitative analysis related to content consumption, metadata, and strategic initiatives, enabling informed decision-making and strategy optimization
- Support case management activities: Lead relationships with internal and external stakeholders. handle regular project meetings and cross functional meetings with internal teams as well as other LEAs and Ministries to provide statistics and feedback on content and sentiment analysis;
- Lead in mitigation within reasonable definitions any fraud, scams, or otherwise illegal activity occurring on UGC platforms;

- Develop and recommend the standards and implement methodologies and processes to maintain a source of truth for reporting and analytics purpose;
- Continuously collaborate on effective execution strategies, monitor progress, communicate outcomes, and oversee the management and development of reporting staff
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, or other related qualification from a recognized university;
- 8-12 years of working experience, with strong knowledge of technology and new media, as well as sound understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks
