Assistant Manager Company Secretarial

We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Manager Company Secretarial professional to join our dynamic team at Indah Secretarial (KL) Sdn Bhd. Based in our Melaka office, this is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in supporting our clients' corporate secretarial needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive company secretarial services to a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Prepare and file all statutory documents and returns within required timeframes
  • Organise and attend board, shareholder and other corporate meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes and resolutions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date company records and registers
  • Advise clients on good corporate governance practices
  • Assist with corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex corporate transactions
  • Mentor and guide more junior members of the secretarial team
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience in a company secretarial role, ideally gained within a professional services firm or a large corporate entity
  • Thorough understanding of Malaysian company law and corporate secretarial best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Proven experience in leading and developing junior team members
  • Professional accounting or legal qualification would be an advantage (e.g., MAICSA or ICSA)
