A leading property development company in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Finance Manager to independently manage end-to-end financing processes, focusing on banking facilities. Candidates must possess a degree in Finance and have 3–5 years of experience in corporate or project financing. Proficiency in financial modelling using Excel and strong communication skills are required. The role involves preparing cash flow forecasts, liaising with bankers, and ensuring compliance with loan documentation, all while handling multiple tasks under pressure.
Independently manage end-to-end financing processes, including the preparation, submission, follow-up, and drawdown of banking facilities.
Prepare cash flow forecasts, project funding projections, and financial models to support financing applications and annual bank reviews.
Compile and prepare complete financing proposals, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to financial institutions.
Review facility letters, term sheets, and legal documentation to ensure alignment with management’s decisions and the company’s best interests.
Liaise directly with bankers and financial institutions on financing applications, documentation, and loan disbursements.
Track and monitor loan utilization, repayment schedules, and compliance requirements, highlighting key deadlines and variances.
Collaborate with internal departments (Accounts, Legal, Project, etc.) and external stakeholders (valuers, business partners, company secretary, and others) to gather supporting documents and ensure smooth loan processing.
Maintain comprehensive records of all banking facilities, security documents, and agreements for management’s reference.
Prepare management reports on financing status, interest costs, and covenant compliance.
Support superiors in ad hoc assignments and reporting tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
Postgraduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Certificate in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate or project financing, accounting, treasury, or similar functions.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong financial modelling skills for cash flow and loan projections.
Experience in preparing financing proposals and liaising directly with bankers for loan applications, reviews, and drawdowns.
Familiar with loan documentation, facility agreements, and compliance requirements.
Independent, meticulous, and proactive, with the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Organized, responsible, and committed, capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; experience with the IFCA Accounting System is an added advantage.
Exposure to the property development industry is an advantage.
