A leading food and beverage company in Malaysia is looking for a Support Category Head in Brand Planning and Growth. The ideal candidate will develop and supervise marketing plans, execute digital and social marketing strategies, and analyze marketing ROI. With a required educational background of a BSc/BA in related fields and 5 years of marketing experience, they will lead initiatives that optimize brand performance and engage consumers effectively.
Support Category Head in Brand Planning and Growth Ambitions, to develop and supervise Marketing Plans.
Autonomously run best in class launch plans in market.
Develop disruptive best in class digital and social marketing plans for brand execution and new brand launches.
Evaluate productiveness and marketing initiatives ROI.
Participate and assist Category Head to direct developing creative strategies and media execution. (PR, Marketing Communications, Digital and Social Media).
Support Category Head to manage crisis management and local media relations.
Product development and commercial proposals to guarantee product gross margins meet business needs.
Analyze and Recommend white space opportunities in market.
Maximizing the use of data tools to drill and ensure understanding of market & consumer. (AC Nielsen, Kantar TNS, MWB).
Track A&P budgets and spends - towards maximizing gains and reducing costs.
Prepare reports on brand performance and sales.
To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time.
Candidate must possess at least BSc/BA in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field.
5 years of Marketing experience in fast paced brand with a strong consumer focus. Knowledge of product pricing, packaging, distribution and positioning
Experience in Launching end to end Campaigns in market. New product development launch is a plus.
Strong track record of consistent in market delivery.
Strong Accountability and Ownership in task and deliverables.
Desire to project brands to the next levels with building of brands at the heart of consumers
Willingness to engage in robust discussions on strategy with a strong point of view.
Ability to conduct research and analyze data.
Organizational skills, experience meeting tight deadlines.
Deep consumer empathy to find solutions that caters to the consumer needs.
