Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist the estate Operation Manager in managing field operation, maintenance, upkeep, harvesting, transportation & infrastructure as well as implementing & maintaining good agricultural practices according to the Company’s directions.
• Workflow planning.
• Regular communication & preparation of reports to head office.
• Assist in managing the estate’s operation which includes nursery, land preparation, planting, field maintenance, harvesting, transport and infrastructure.
• Planning & implementing work schedule to achieve goals and targets.
• Conduct close monitoring to ensure that all operations and activities within the Estate are according to the practice and guidelines provided by the Company.
• Liaise between the Operation Manager, supporting staff & workers.

Qualifications

• Preferably a candidate who possess at least a Diploma in Agricultural Science/Forestry/Plantation Management or related discipline.
• Candidates without tertiary education but with hands on experience will be considered.
• At least 5 years of hands on working experience in palm oil estate and management and is familiar with field operational management.
• Able to effectively communicate with & motivate staff & labour force.
• Those with experience in estate operational management in planting, costing, budgeting, execution & monitoring are highly desired.
