A prominent hotel chain is seeking an Assistant Housekeeper in Kuala Lumpur to assist the Executive Housekeeper with planning and supervision of cleaning and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 4-5 years of experience in a similar position, exhibiting a positive attitude and strong commitment to excellent customer service. Assistant Housekeeper (Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur)

Exec Housekeeper with the planning organization and Supervisor of the cleaning and maintenance of the Hotel.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in planning organization and supervision of cleaning and maintenance.
  • Specific responsibilities include guest rooms, public area, back‑of‑house area, linen and uniforms, laundry operation.
  • Maintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with the Front Office and other departments of the hotel.
  • Have a deep understanding of the Hotel’s and Company’s vision, values, objectives, and core behaviors.
  • Ensure that the policies and procedures of the Hotel are followed.
  • Assist in selection, staffing, training, retraining, supervision, grooming of conduct standards, and in initiating termination when necessary of staff in the Housekeeping Department.
  • Carry out responsibilities regularly as outlined in the Housekeeping Manager’s job.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, any field.
  • At least 4 to 5 years of work experience required in a similar position.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
