Job summary

A prominent company in finance operations is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee operations and development within the Finance Department. Responsibilities include implementing policies, preparing financial reports, and managing cash flows. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably from the recreational or hospitality industry, and possess strong communication skills along with a qualification in Accounting or Finance. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Finance Department's operations including Accounts, IT, and Administrative Division.

  • Prepare and review financial reports and annual budgets.
  • Manage cash flows and ensure liquidity.

Job description

Oversee the operations and development of the Company’s Finance Department which include Accounts, Purchasing, Credit Control, Information Technology (IT) and Administrative Division.

Review & implement policies & procedures to ensure proper internal control and accountability.

Supervise, review, or prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Prepare annual budget and monitor the variances between the actual achievement and the budgeted amount.

To liaise with bankers, trustees, auditors, tax agent, insurance and all other statutory bodies.

To manage cash flow which include tracking cash inflows and outflows, prepare cash flow forecast, managing receivables, payables and working capital to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet all financial obligations.

Prepare or review tax computation and familiar with the tax calendar.

Monitoring and enforcing compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.

Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the Company’s financial position.

Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant working experience.

Experience in recreational club or hospitality industry and IFCA accounting software are added advantages.

Diploma/degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.

Good communication skills, including written, verbal and presentations.

In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
