Job summary

A leading health and wellness company is seeking an individual in Penang to support day-to-day operations within the Environment department. This role includes site assessments, report preparation, and management of the Environment, Safety and Health (EHS) Committee. Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related field, and have familiarity with the Occupational Safety and Health Act. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to safety and environmental health initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.
  • Knowledge of Guidelines on Monitoring of Airborne Chemical Hazardous to Health 2022.

Responsibilities
  1. Support senior executives in the day-to-day operations of an environment department, including administrative tasks, coordination, and ensuring smooth workflow.
  2. Assist Environment team in conducting monitoring tasks by performing site assessments and preparing reports.
  3. Provide support for preparation and sample testing requests by Environment team.
  4. Assist in managing the Environment, Safety and Health (EHS) Committee in laboratory.
Requirements
  1. Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Health Science/Safety and Health or related.
  2. Familiar with Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and Environment Quality Act 1974.
  3. Knowledge of Guidelines on Monitoring of Airborne Chemical Hazardous to Health 2022.
