Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Company Secretarial professional to join our dynamic team at Indah Secretarial (KL) Sdn Bhd. Based in our Ipoh office, this is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in supporting our clients' corporate secretarial needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive company secretarial services to a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

Prepare and file all statutory documents and returns within required timeframes

Organise and attend board, shareholder and other corporate meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes and resolutions

Maintain accurate and up-to-date company records and registers

Advise clients on good corporate governance practices

Assist with corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex corporate transactions

Mentor and guide more junior members of the secretarial team

What We're Looking For

3+ years of post-qualification experience in a company secretarial role, ideally gained within a professional services firm or a large corporate entity

Thorough understanding of Malaysian company law and corporate secretarial best practices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively

Proven experience in leading and developing junior team members

Professional accounting or legal qualification would be an advantage
