Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in costing control; F&B industry experience is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong analytical, systematic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing packs.
  • Handle month-end journals including accruals, prepayments, and amortisation.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and perform daily sales reconciliation.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow reports and manage intercompany reconciliations.
  • Support audit and tax matters, ensuring timely and accurate financial administration.

As an Assistant Accountant, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, support audits and tax matters, and contribute to the company’s financial efficiency and compliance.
