Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to conduct asset inspections, oversee contractors, and coordinate project delivery in Kuala Berang. The ideal candidate will have a Post-Graduate Certificate in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, including asset management. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project are essential. This role ensures compliance with quality, safety, health, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' total working experience with 3-4 years in asset management and civil works.
• Knowledge of asset management practices and relevant standards, exposure to EOSP and CIDB requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic asset inspections for various structures and prepare inspection reports.
• Oversee work orders and monitor site progress and quality of contractors' works.
• Coordinate and verify final joint inspections and issue Certificates of Practical Completion.
• Respond to emergencies and assess site conditions for rehabilitation works.
