Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kedah is seeking a dedicated professional to lead and manage the assembly team. You will develop and implement efficient assembly processes, monitor production schedules, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate should possess a STPM or Diploma in a relevant field, have at least 2-3 years of CNC production experience, and be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin. This role requires good communication and people management skills while working in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Lead and manage the assembly team, providing direction, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Develop and implement assembly processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.

Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet changing demands while ensuring optimal output.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.

Ensure that the safety rules and regulation are followed strictly.

Conduct regular inspections of assembly operations to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline product assembly and resolve technical issues.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies, conducting regular audits and inspections.

Ensure WIP, Inventory levels, quality, cost, uph and delivery performance indices are achieved as per targets set.

Any other duties as assigned by the Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a STPM or Diploma in any science/technical field of study. Those with non-science/technical qualifications but have CNC related work experience can also be considered;

Candidate must possess at least 2-3 years of CNC production work experiences and exposure in similar or related manufacturing industry is preferred;

Must be willing to work on rotating shifts;

Excellent communication and people management/interaction skills;

Matured and able to adapt in a fast moving, high volume manufacturing environment;

Must be able to work in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

Able to communicate in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (compulsory)
