Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Be in-depth understanding of the subject area content, skills and understandings as prescribed in the teaching IGCSE Art and/or IGCSE and the school’s schemes of work.
  • Select relevant resources and digital tools to support and enhance learning.
  • Develop appropriate assessment tasks, providing timely and effective feedback that enhances student’s learning.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues in a timely, professional manner.
  • Use a range of appropriate strategies for classroom management.
  • Collaborate with members of the school community to build a team environment that supports students’ learning.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Education or related field of study.
  • Have at least 3 years of teaching experience; experience with teaching IGCSE Art preferred.
  • Can teach Year 7–11 Art.
  • Must be able to prepare schemes of work and lesson plans, and deliver lessons effectively according to the learning ability of the student.
  • Can conduct the classes independently. Passion to teach and interact with the students.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Creative and willing to accept new ideas and concepts in teaching and education.
  • Possess good planning, organising, coordinating, presentation, and time‑management skills.
  • Experience in teaching A‑Levels will be an advantage.
