A global biopharma company in Malaysia is seeking a Financial Controller to manage consolidated financial reporting and analysis to support regional strategy. Candidates must possess an accounting degree with at least 10 years' experience in finance controlling and SOX compliance. Proficiency in tools like SAP and Power BI is required, alongside excellent analytical and communication skills. This role offers the chance to drive significant financial insights within a leading organization.
The Financial Controller is responsible for producing results at consolidated level as a Market / Area part of the International region, analysing results and providing key highlights to the Head of Finance and Finance team to support the regional strategy. The role also works and interact very closely with the FD(s) and Finance teams of the Market(s).
The role requires high quality standards delivering right first-time reporting and analysis which are insightful and supports the business to develop accurate plans while keeping a strong control environment.
Given the nature of the role and coverage within the international region time zone, a high level of flexibility and adjustment is required to fulfil the requirements of a such critical role.
