Job summary

An architectural firm is hiring for its residential projects team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will manage and design projects from start to finish, collaborating with clients and stakeholders. Key requirements include a degree in architecture and at least 3 years of experience, with skills in project management and software such as Revit and AutoCAD. Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of local work experience.
  • Eligibility for Professional Architectural accreditation is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Involvement in project works from inception to completion.
  • Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing residential projects.
  • Create innovative high-quality architectural designs and solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders on design issues and site execution.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to contracts.
  • Attend project meetings and perform assigned duties.

Job description

We are architecture firm that specialises in residential and community projects. This is a hire for the residential projects team.

The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of architectural design in his or her own assigned projects, along with supporting the Design Director in other major projects in the pipeline.

Job Scopes:
  • Involvement in project works from inception to completion
  • Responsible for planning, designing and implementing landed residential projects in the local market
  • Create innovative high-quality architectural designs and design solutions including conceptualization, preparation of plans/ graphics/ documentation/write-ups, specifications and all other project related materials
  • Work with internal & external stakeholders e.g. clients, consultants, contractors and workers on various design issues, submissions and the execution of the site works
  • Monitor project progress to ensure projects are carried out within contract agreement and schedule
  • Attend project / technical / consultant meetings where required
  • Any other duties as and when assigned e.g. Design competition
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Architecture from a recognized tertiary institution
  • At least 3 years of local work experience
  • Eligibility for Professional Architectural accreditation is an advantage
  • Good project management, excellent communication, and coordination skills
  • Well versed in Revit/ArchiCad/BIM, Autocad, Sketchup, PhotoShop and Office software. Knowledge of Revit is an advantage
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervisionAble to communicate effectively in the written, oral and graphic form
  • Able to multi-task and with good time management
  • Conversant with Local Authorities’ regulations and compliances
