As an AR Analyst (Japanese Speaker), you will oversee the full Accounts Receivable process, including invoicing, payment application, collections, and dispute resolution for intercompany transactions. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role requires fluency in Japanese to ensure smooth communication with stakeholders and maintain efficient financial operations within the FMCG industry.

Description
  • Ensure timely processing and accurate matching of customer payments against invoices.
  • Post and reconcile customer claims, identify root causes (e.g., pricing, quantity, delivery issues), and document resolutions.
  • Perform proactive dunning activities and follow up on overdue invoices to secure prompt payment.
  • Issue and deliver customer invoices with accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Record and resolve customer claims at the first level; process credit memos for justified claims and coordinate with the Commercial Business Unit for disputed claims.
  • Monitor customer credit limits, perform solvency checks, and release orders in line with internal credit policies.
  • Handle invoice processing and outgoing payments related to trade terms management (TTM).
  • Process AP/AR reclassifications and month-end AR credit balance adjustments for trade settlement (TS).
  • Prepare accurate AR aging reports and maintain proper documentation for audit readiness and compliance.
Profile
  • Proficiency in Japanese (min JLPT N2) and English, both written and spoken.
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in AR, preferably in SSC set up. Fresh grad are welcomed to apply.
