Position: Application Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure

Job Summary

The Application Engineer will be responsible for supporting the sales and project teams by developing tailored technical solutions for customers. The role focuses on product selection, technical proposals, and system integration across Data Center infrastructure components such as UPS systems, Busway, PDUs, Racks, Containment Systems and Cable Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose appropriate Data Center infrastructure solutions.
• Provide detailed technical support and product recommendations during the pre-sales process.
• Prepare technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), and proposals.
• Customize solutions involving UPS, PDU, Track Busway, Racks, Containment Systems, and cable management according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure compatibility and integration of offered products.
• Conduct customer presentations, product demos, and technical workshops.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies related to data center infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in data center or electrical infrastructure design, preferably in a pre-sales or technical solution role.
• Strong knowledge of power systems (UPS, Busway, PDU), Cooling concepts, containment solutions, and rack/cable management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
