Job summary

A technology solutions provider located in Malaysia, Penang, Seberang Perai is seeking a skilled technician to program and troubleshoot AOI inspection systems. Responsibilities include optimizing machine performance and collaborating with various teams to address issues. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in electronics or related fields, with at least 2 years of experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and hands-on experience with AOI machines are preferred. This role requires a commitment to quality and a willingness to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in an area of their specialty or related field.
  • Willing to work in 12 hours rotation shift.
  • Hands-on experience with AOI inspection machines preferred.
  • Familiar with AOI programming and fine tuning preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform programming and troubleshooting of AOI inspection systems.
  • Monitor machine performance and fine-tune programs for accuracy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Minimize product changeover duration and optimize yield levels.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Skills

Basic knowledge of electronics components and PCB assembly
Good communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to work on rotating shifts and perform overtime if required

Education

Diploma related Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Technology
