Job summary

A reputable technology firm in Kuala Selangor is looking for a skilled software developer to participate in the complete software development life cycle. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor's in Computer Science, at least 2 years of experience with the Spring framework, and solid technical knowledge in Java, Hibernate, and PostgreSQL. Candidates should possess strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills, capable of working independently to deliver quality results.

• Participate in the complete software development life cycle.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team.
• Plans, develops, tests and documents computer programs according to specification, applying knowledge of programming techniques and methodologies.
• Prepare test data, test scripts and test coded programs thoroughly to validate completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in design system and analysis of program specification.
• Perform installation and deployment of system.
• Produces or validates the schedule and effort estimate for each task they perform, commit to the assigned task.
• Demonstrates the ability to understand, challenge, contribute or construct software specification and is capable of building software in line with the specifications.
• Provide technical support when required.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent, with minimum 2 years of work experience with Spring framework or equivalent
• Candidate should have technical knowledge in the following areas: Java, Hibernate, Postgre SQL and etc
• Preferably with Card or Banking Solution Experience
• Preferably with at least one full SDLC implementation experience in any project
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision but still able to deliver good results
• Able to make sound proposal and critical decisions with supervisor’s guidance
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Good analytical/investigative skill
