Job Summary:

The Airfreight Operation Executive is responsible for managing all import/export shipment matters including shipment processing, order updates, trucking arrangements, billing, costing, and vendor rate negotiation. The role also provides shipment reporting and documentation support to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth and cost-efficient air import/export operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the end-to-end handling of all air import/export shipment matters.
• Provide shipment-specific processing and ensure timely communication of order/shipment updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and arrange trucking for timely delivery of shipments.
• Prepare billing and costing accurately for each shipment.
• Negotiate trucking rates with vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
• Provide shipment reporting and document support to both internal teams and external parties as required.
• May perform any other duties assigned by superior as and when required.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Logistics Management or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in airfreight operations.
• Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and freight forwarding documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, CW1 (CargoWise One) or similar logistics software will be an added advantage.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
