Job description

Responsibilities

• To perform preventive maintenance and remedial maintenance on data centre equipment.
• To troubleshoot and fix problems related to data centre equipment.
• To respond promptly to any equipment breakdown during office hours or after office hours, including Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays.
• To assist the Senior Technician, Technical Engineer, Senior Technical Engineer, Team Lead Technical Service Department & Technical Service Manager to conduct preventive maintenance and services such as Power Audit Services, Thermal Scanning Services, Grounding measurement, & electrical switchboards preventive maintenance, off-line load test and on-line load test.
• To standby at site for activities such as genset testing, TNB power outage, HT switchgear servicing, migration of loads and other activities related to the data centre.
• To install & perform testing and commissioning of data centre equipment such as CCTV, card access , UPS, CRAC units, Split Unit Airconds, Water Detection System, Vesda system and etc.
• To perform other works as instructed by the Team Lead of Technical Service Department & Technical Service Manager as and when required.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (others).
• Any Professional certificate in Air Conditioning or refrigerator are also welcome to apply.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is preferred.
• Experience involved in preventive, predictive maintenance planning, scheduling, execution and manning.
• Able to contribute effective solutions to solve issues.
• Positive and aggressive working attitude, able to think critically, a good team player and able to work independently.
• Able to travel to client side around Klang Valley (Travelling allowance provided).

Additional Info

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6.30pm)
