A logistics firm in Selangor is seeking an experienced air freight sales leader to drive revenue and profit growth. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing air freight operations, and building relationships with airlines and partners. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–8 years of experience in air freight sales, demonstrating strong negotiation and analytical skills. This position offers a dynamic work environment.
Lead and drive the air freight business portfolio, delivering sustainable revenue, gross profit, and volume growth through new account acquisition and strategic account expansion.
Develop and implement air freight sales strategies, including market penetration, vertical focus (e.g., time‑critical, DG), and pipeline conversion management.
Responsible for air freight quotations, including airline rate negotiations, space commitments, fuel surcharges, margin control, and credit exposure.
Demonstrate strong operational knowledge of air freight, including IATA regulations, cargo handling, AWB documentation, Incoterms, customs clearance, and security procedures.
Build strategic relationships with airlines, overseas agents, and global partners to secure competitive capacity, priority uplift, and differentiated service offerings.
Provide sales forecasting, performance reporting, market intelligence, and commercial insights to management to support decision‑making and business growth.
