Job description

Lead and drive the air freight business portfolio, delivering sustainable revenue, gross profit, and volume growth through new account acquisition and strategic account expansion.

Develop and implement air freight sales strategies, including market penetration, vertical focus (e.g., time‑critical, DG), and pipeline conversion management.

Responsible for air freight quotations, including airline rate negotiations, space commitments, fuel surcharges, margin control, and credit exposure.

Demonstrate strong operational knowledge of air freight, including IATA regulations, cargo handling, AWB documentation, Incoterms, customs clearance, and security procedures.

Build strategic relationships with airlines, overseas agents, and global partners to secure competitive capacity, priority uplift, and differentiated service offerings.

Provide sales forecasting, performance reporting, market intelligence, and commercial insights to management to support decision‑making and business growth.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; IATA certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in air freight sales within a freight forwarding or logistics environment, with a proven track record in revenue and GP achievement.
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of air freight operations, including airline booking, space allocation, MAWB/HAWB, consol shipments, routing, and flight management.
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
