Administrator, Reconciliations Production Services (Contract)

RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability.

You will be responsible for the day to day processing of reconciliations including Asset and Cash accounts on a daily basis via Reconciliations Platform to ensure the positions between the ledger and the relevant custodians agree. As a control function, the breaks on the reconciliation need to be kept to a minimum level to ensure accurate data is being maintained. The role is to deliver specific services to external and internal clients with high level of quality, efficiency and fostering a client first mindset.

You will be supporting Canada region, working hours would be between 4pm-1am or 5pm - 2am. However, flexibility is required to support business needs.

What will you do?
  • Review and clearance of daily cash and stock reconciliations via Reconciliations Platform.
  • Investigation of all cash and asset breaks and ensure they are assigned to the right departments.
  • E-mail queries are investigated and responded on a timely manner.
  • Collate and maintain required periodic reporting and procedures as required to support the client and/or business needs.
  • Collate and maintain statistical information for internal and client distribution.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Custody and Banking experience in operations/back office.
  • Basic/Fair Reconciliations knowledge.
  • Added Advantage: Understanding in other functions like Entitlements, Cash Management, Transaction Management, Settlements, Fund Accounting.
Nice-to-have
  • PC literate in MS Office applications.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Flexible and able to work in a team to achieve goals.
