Job summary

A premier educational institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a diligent Administrative Support role to assist in managing school operations. Responsibilities include handling correspondence, maintaining student and staff records, supporting assessments, and acting as a liaison between stakeholders. Candidates must possess a diploma and at least 1 year of admin experience, ideally within the education sector. Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage school emails, responding to inquiries and directing messages appropriately.
  • Handle leave applications, student records, and official letters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases for student and staff records.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating teacher cover replacements and claims as needed.
  • Support the arrangement of assessments, examinations, assessment records and invigilation schedules.
  • Keep track of disciplinary records and academic matters as required.
  • Act as a liaison between teachers, students, parents, and the administration team.
  • Distribute important announcements, circulars, and timetable updates.
  • Assist in organising meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Monitor and manage office supplies, stationery, and classroom resources.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance requests to ensure a conducive learning environment.
  • Assist in planning and executing events, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
  • At least a Diploma in any field or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year admin experience.
  • Experience in education industry is added advantage.
  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is added advantage to assist in handling Chinese speaking parents.
