A reputable engineering consultancy in Subang Jaya is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage their full set of accounts, including AP, AR, and GL. The role demands preparation of financial statements, month-end processes, and payroll administration. Candidates must possess a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance, with proficiency in SQL Accounting or AutoCount, and be fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Handle a full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes accurately and on time.
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and related schedules.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash flow records.
Prepare account projections, update bank tracking (Excel) weekly, and advise the Director on company financial status.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Prepare and update project fee proposals and discuss revisions with the Director.
Prepare, calculate, and verify monthly payroll, salary payments, staff claims, and reimbursements.
Ensure timely payroll upload and statutory contributions.
Provide general HR and administrative support to management.
Assist the Director with ad-hoc administrative and financial matters as required.
Ensure timely submission of tax filings and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Prepare company tax estimations, tax projections, and tax planning.
Liaise with LHDN, auditors, accountants, tax agents, and company secretaries.
Prepare and manage license payments related to company properties and liaise with relevant authorities.
Manage company vehicles, including road tax renewal, insurance, and related administrative matters.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum experience in handling a full set of accounts independently.
Proficient in accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
Good organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
Able to work independently and also collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (spoken and written).

Able to liaise confidently and professionally with clients/owners to follow up on outstanding payments.
