Job description

We are seeking a hands‑on and motivated Senior Accounts Executive/Accountant to join our new team in Selangor. This is a standalone role responsible for managing the day‑to‑day finance and administrative operations of our SG & MY business. The successful candidate will also support selected regional finance functions, reporting to, and working closely with, the Finance Head based in Singapore.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is comfortable working independently, and is eager to take ownership of local finance and compliance matters.

This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑border teams.

Responsibilities
  • Handle and maintain full sets of accounts of 7-10 entities (MY/SG), which include Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Fixed assets and day‑to‑day function of accounts activities.
  • Monthly submission of GTO sales report to landlord
  • Responsible for month‑end closing and reconciliations.
  • Responsible for timely preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules.
  • Perform timely preparation and submission of GST returns, cash flow forecast and income tax.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, suppliers, customers and internal parties.
  • Prepare analysis of profit and loss statement and to produce any special reports required by management, control and monitor the cash flow.
  • Evaluate and ensure continual improvement in operational efficiency, cost effectiveness and internal controls.
  • Any ad‑hoc duties as and when assigned by the management.
Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a relevant Professional Qualification in Accountancy such as ACA/ACCA/MICPA.
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience is required in related fields, preferably in property or related industries. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Candidates with more years of experience will be offered a senior‑level position.
  • Preferably executive specialized in accounting and finance.
  • Required skill(s): financial instruments, knowledge of property accounting systems would be an advantage, strong numerical, analytical, and computer literate.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia languages.
