Job summary

A prominent real estate company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support financial reporting and compliance. The role involves preparing accounts, assisting in project costs, and preparing tax documentation. Assist in the preparation of a full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Support monthly project reporting, collection reports, and month-end closing activities.

Assist in the preparation of accounting budgets and project costing analysis.

Prepare audit schedules and tax-related documentation for statutory and internal purposes.

Assist in cash flow forecasting and projection to support financial planning.

Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, tax agents, external auditors, company secretaries, and bankers.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and integrity of all financial data and records.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.

Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience; experience in the property development or construction industry is an advantage.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Sound understanding of accounting standards, particularly those applicable to property development.

Computer literate; knowledge of IFCA accounting system is an added advantage.

Able to work independently under pressure, multitask effectively, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with good written and verbal communication skills.
