Job summary

A financial services provider in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Accounts Receivable specialist who will manage turnover analysis and maintain the Accounts Receivable database. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate recording of invoices, preparing computations for direct taxes, and supporting daily operations. Applicants should possess a degree in accounting and have at least 1 year of experience or be fresh graduates. Strong skills in Microsoft Office are also required.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare turnover analysis and maintain the Accounts Receivable database.
  • Ensure weekly invoices and transactions are accurately and promptly recorded in the accounting system.
  • Prepare computations for direct taxes.
  • Perform monthly closing activities for Accounts Receivable, including schedules and bank reconciliations.
  • Support daily operations related to Accounts Receivable.
  • Maintain complete and accurate Accounts Receivable records.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and system setup for Accounts Receivable modules.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or partial professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Well-organised, with a positive work attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
