Job summary

A financial services firm located in Penang is seeking an accounting candidate to manage invoices, data entry, and financial reporting. The ideal applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or be pursuing a professional qualification like ACCA or CPA. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Handle invoices, accounting data entry and collections including preparing bank reconciliation.
  • Be accountable for daily accounts recording.
  • Handle account payables and account receivables.
  • Maintain proper filing system and ensure traceability of documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Handle Form E and submission.
  • Deal with company secretary such as prepare resolution, incorporation and dealing with SSM.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and/or currently pursuing professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of SQL Accounting will be added advantages.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office™ tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able and willing to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communications in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
