Job description

Provide assistance to the Head of Finance and Operations in the preparation and recording of the company’s assets, liability, revenue and expenses by compiling and analyzing its account and sales information.

Upholding professional integrity in the preparation of the company’s monthly and yearly closing, including the supporting role in preparation of the company’s full sets of accounts.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Finance & Operations in ensuring that the accounting records and system are in compliance with Company’s policies and the Malaysian Accounting Standards and Statutory requirements. This includes upholding confidentiality of the company’s information as required by the law.
• Ensuring that all the company’s financial and accounting transactions including its records of assets, liability, revenue and expenses are kept in order, timely and accuracy, towards assisting in the preparation of its full set of accounts.
• Ensuring that the functions and processes of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and related Journal entries are executed in accordance to the Company’s policies and best industry practices.
• Ensuring an open and dynamic communication channels to liaise and communicate with all related parties in the course of performing assigned duties.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least an Advanced Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related working experience; (Familiarity in the QuickBooks System and Microsoft Excel in the preparation of a full sets of Accounts is an added advantage).
• Able to work under tight deadline, meticulous, proactive, multitasking in a fast-pace environment, has a sense of responsibility, excellent problem-solving skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to work closely with other members of the organization.
