Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling MIDA & SST matters and support in annual financial statements.
• Co‑ordinate with internal and external auditors, tax agents, etc. to ensure compliance of statutory requirements.
• Assist in daily-to-day operations of the accounts department.
• Ensure accounting records are properly maintained and reconciled, especially in Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.
• Perform a variety of regular and recurring accounting functions requiring professional competency.
• Ensure timely reporting and assist in ad‑hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or Finance, Diploma in Business Administration or higher.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in handling a full set of accounts.
• Ensure monthly financial statements are accurately prepared on a timely basis and adhere to accounting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and in a computerized accounting system (e.g., SQL system).
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the manufacturing field.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work under minimum supervision and be self‑motivated.
• Possesses a pleasant personality with ability to work in a team and good sense of responsibility and commitment.
