Job summary

A security services company in Malaysia is looking for an experienced accounting professional. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, handling payroll, and maintaining financial records. Job description

Helious Security Services Sdn Bhd – Petaling

Prepare, issue, and monitor customer invoices accurately and on a timely basis

Handle and manage e-Invoicing in accordance with LHDN regulations and company policies

Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record‑keeping of all accounting transactions

Maintain and update financial data using accounting software

Assist in monthly closing of accounts, reconciliations, and basic financial reports

Process payroll, including salary calculations, overtime, allowances, and deductions

Handle Malaysian statutory payments and submissions such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB

Coordinate with HR and Operations teams on payroll, billing, and cost‑related matters

Follow up on outstanding invoices and support accounts receivable functions

Assist during audits and provide necessary accounting documents and schedules

Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

1–2 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance

Knowledge and hands‑on experience in e-Invoicing will be an added advantage

Familiar with accounting software (e.g. AutoCount, SQL, UBS, or equivalent systems)

Good understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements

Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time‑management skills

Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information

Good communication and teamwork skills

Added Advantage:

Experience handling payroll and statutory submissions

Experience in service‑based or security industry
