Key Responsibilities
1. Full Set of Accounts
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
2. Financial & Statutory Reporting
- Work with external accountant/auditor to ensure timely tax submissions (LHDN, SST, EPF, SOCSO, etc.).
- Liaise with government bodies, banks, and external parties when needed.
- Assist in preparing documents for audit and year-end financial closing.
3. Cash Flow & Payment Management
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Track accounts payable and schedule timely supplier and salary payments.
- Prepare weekly cash flow updates for management.
4. Administrative & System Support
- Manage invoicing, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in a similar role (SME experience preferred).
- Able to handle full set of accounts independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting Autocount software.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Able to meet deadlines and communicate well with internal and external teams.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
